The Fury and Dark Reunion The Vampire Diaries L J Smith Books
I started reading the second bind-up of Vampire Diaries as soon as I finished the first one. I couldn't stop reading. Especially when The Struggle ends with Elena's death - theoretically. Because she actually transforms into a vampire. She was almost drown, and she kinda died, but she had enough of Stefan's blood in her veins to help her stay... un-dead. And.. whoa! She thinks Damon is her boyfriend. I still dunno why. Well, yeah, she finally remembered after about 4 chapters, but still... Anyway, it was a great story. The Fury means Elena's life as a vampire, trying to kill Katherine but, in the end, doing the most unselfish thing anyone could do, as Bonnie describes it at the end of book 3... she risks her life and slowly dies, transforming into ashes, but not before making Stefan and Damon promise they'll take care of each other.. Awww, how cute isn't it? And, finally, The Reunion is the part where Stefan, Damon, Bonnie, Meredith and Matt ally together to confront Klaus, an Old One (like original vamp, who never dies) and bring Elena back - yay! The Reunion is maybe the most thrilling book in the Vampire Diaries series (not talking about The Vampire Diaries: The Return series). When I finished this bind-up (after another week), I couldn't wait for The Return series - And now, as an introductory part, The Return series is awesome! And, now really, what are you waiting for? Go. Read. It. At. Once! :)
So, I give this book 5/5 stars too, because it kept me breathless for 2 good weeks. Again, congratulations to L.J. Smith for her vampire story - the original one!

The Fury and Dark Reunion The Vampire Diaries L J Smith Books Reviews
Delivery was fast. But.......
Okay I watched the television series and learned it was based on a book. Being the type of person who likes to read the book before a show or movie I bought the first few books. Long story short its not worth reading. In fact it ruined the television series for me. Now I don't want anything to do with any of it now. DON'T READ IT IF YOU LIKE THE TELEVISION SHOW!!!!!!!!
This book is really good and I love it I can't put the books down even if I want to. If you haven't read Vampire Diaries you should if you're into Vampire Books of course but yes read the books you'll like them )
I've been reading L.J. Smith since I was eleven-years-old, and even though her books tackle mature subject matter and the realm of supernatural fiction, I've always loved them. I grew up like a million other teenage girls, feeling isolated even though I was surrounded by many. Being a teenager is a really hard time in any person's life, but sometimes reading a book made things a little easier. I could relate to L.J.'s main characters, because even though they are surrounded by extraordinary and unbelievable circumstances, they are still human in their characteristics and deepest motivations. They provided an escape from my own thoughts into that of another person, and gave me hope for a change from the mundane in my life. The books are no Jane Austin, but they are relatable, and her characters are always engaging. I highly recommend all books by L.J. Smith to any young woman who is looking for a way to expand her reading horizons. The most fascinating thing for me about this author is that I've been reading and rereading her books for nine years, and they have become familiar friends. For my own little sister, they provided a connection for us to communicate across a continent while I am away at school, and they gave me the motivation to have confidence in my own writing. I don't think I would be an English major without the influence of Ms. Smith and other authors like her.
In The Fury and Dark Reunion, the reader is presented with a mystery to solve. I wasn't able to figure out the mystery in the third installment but I did figure out the one in the fourth installment before it was revealed. In the Fury, Elena grew more as a person. I didn't particularly like her in The Awakening and The Struggle but I grew to like her in these installments. I even started to like Damon a little bit in Dark Reunion.
Dark Reunion allowed the reader to learn more about Elena's friends since they were focused on more. While everything was explained very well in The Fury, some of things that happened in Dark Reunion weren't. Despite that being the case, I thought that both The Fury and Dark Reunion were enjoyable to read.
Great Book! I absolutely love this! It's so far my favorite book even though its just the 3rd and 4th book. Great character development and there really isn't any loopholes that I have found, which is hard for a writer to accomplish. Definitely the best series I have ever read!
This is a review for The Fury. I haven't read Dark Reunion yet, but I'll come back to update this review once I do.
Once again, L.J. Smith delivers! This book isn't like books 1 and 2. It's obvious this book is written to set up for future books. This typically bothers me, but it works well for this series! We finally find out who the Other Power is, as well as see the Other Power go down in flames (literally)! I absolutely love Bonnie (she's my favorite). Damon's had a place in my heart since he first showed up (this is mostly because Ian Somerhalder plays him in the TV show. *swoon*). I really don't like Stefan. He's a vampire. Get over it. Drink some blood and go wreck some stuff.
Anywho, I HIGHLY recommend this book!
